Our Journey

The journey of HOPE began humbly in 1988, with just six children and two dedicated Special Educators, in a small rented building in Durgapur, West Bengal. This modest beginning marked the start of a movement driven by compassion, vision, and a commitment to creating a better world for Differently Abled individuals. On 29th September 1988, HOPE was formally inaugurated by Late Binoy Krishna Chowdhury, former Minister of Land & Land Reforms, Government of West Bengal, whose encouragement inspired the foundation’s early path.

At Present, HOPE
